Western States Mounted Officers Association

www.wsmoa.com Events rotate from North to South each year to accommodate departments in different parts of the state.

The Western States Mounted Officers Association is a non-profit dedicated to helping LEO, SAR, volunteers and posse members with training and communications opportunities. The association strives to keep mounted units in touch with one another and to provide high quality, POST approved trainings at various locations throughout California. Basic and Advanced classes are offered 1-2 times a year, along with Instructor Development classes, Trail Trial Competitions and a General Conference.

It is with heavy heart we share the news of the passing of Billie Patrick, Retired Mounted National Park Service Ranger (Yosemite) and former California Mounted Officers Association President. Billie was well known in the CMOA and a huge supporter of mounted law enforcement. Her impact is still felt in the NPS and she will be greatly missed.
