Community is at the heart of what we do. ❤️🏈

Thank you to the Campbell County Junior Football Association for inviting Let the Kids Play to be part of your football camp! We were excited to set up a booth and give away free cleats to young athletes, helping ensure more kids have the equipment they need to get on the field.

Every pair of cleats shared is another opportunity for a child to build confidence, make friends, and experience the joy of sports. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped support our mission that every kid deserves a chance to play!

The Recreation Center is proud to partner with Let the Kids Play, a local nonprofit dedicated to making youth sports more accessible for families in our community.

During the final days of Youth Soccer Registration (July 10–13), we'll have a special FREE soccer equipment table available for families to browse. Stop by to check out soccer cleats, shin guards, and other gear for the upcoming fall season. You might find exactly what your child needs—at no cost!

✅ Already registered for Youth Soccer? Come by anyway! You're welcome to browse the equipment before the season begins.

💙 Help Keep Kids in the Game!

Beginning now, a Let the Kids Play donation bin will be available year-round in the Recreation Center's main entrance. We gladly accept gently used sports equipment of any brand, including:
⚽ Soccer
⚾ Baseball
🏀 Basketball
🏈 Football..and more!

Your donated equipment could help another child experience the joy, confidence, and friendships that come from playing sports.

Every child deserves the opportunity to play, and together we can help remove barriers for local families. Whether you're registering for Youth Soccer, picking up equipment, or donating gently used gear, you're making a difference.

This partnership is about more than sports equipment—it's about neighbors helping neighbors. Together, we can give more kids the chance to play, grow, and create lasting memories through sports.

🏒⚽⚾🏀 LET THE KIDS PLAY GEAR SWAP 🏀⚾⚽🏒

Our community has shown up in an incredible way. Thanks to the generosity of so many families, we have received a huge amount of donated sports equipment to help local kids get back in the game. We are so grateful for the support and belief in our mission.

Now it’s time to find all this gear a new home!

Join us on June 6th for our FREE youth sports gear swap. We’ll have sports equipment, cleats, uniforms, protective gear, and more available for families preparing for the upcoming season.

Have equipment your kids have outgrown? Bring it along! We are always accepting donations and would love to keep the cycle of giving going. If you’re able to make a monetary donation, that’s appreciated too, but it is never expected.

Most importantly, if finances are tight, please do not let that stop you from coming. Everything is completely FREE. Our goal is to remove barriers and make sure every child has the opportunity to play the sports they love.

Help us unload this amazing collection of equipment, find what your athlete needs, and spread the word to families who could benefit.

To see “Let the Kids Play” recognized for Kindness Counts means more than words can explain. This project has always been about creating a space where kids feel included, supported, encouraged, and reminded that they matter — both on and off the field.

We are so thankful for the support, belief, and kindness shown to our mission. Every act of kindness creates a ripple effect, and we’re proud to continue spreading that message through Let the Kids Play. 🫶

Wow! When we started Let the kids Play, it took a huge leap of faith for us, and trusting that God would lead us to where we needed to be. We received this in the mail yesterday and it was such an amazing feeling to know that our organization is being noticed all over the state!

Our community and State has showed up in the most incredible way and I can’t wait to see where we’re led in 2026.

We can’t tag Mr. Barrasso, but we’re so honored to have received this 💛🤎
