Today is a big one. It's the last day of school AND our 6th Grade Clap Out! Families are invited to line the hallways from 11:40–11:55 AM and send our 6th Grade Sun Kings off to junior high with all the love and excitement they deserve. Don't forget — dismissal for everyone is at 11:55 AM today. What an incredible year it has been, Playa. We love this community so much!

👕 T-shirt and shorts — no swimsuits please! They'll dry off fast in the heat
🎒 Change of clothes packed just in case
🧴 SUNSCREEN — apply before school and send some along, it is going to be 95 degrees today!
💧 Water bottle is a must

A helpful resource for our Playa families this summer! Gilbert Public Schools is offering FREE meals for kids and teens 18 and under at several locations May 28 through July 17. No sign up required! Locations include Boulder Creek Elementary, Harris Elementary, and Mesquite Junior High. Breakfast and lunch served Monday through Friday. Field Day is coming up on May 19 and we need YOU! We are looking for volunteers per time slot to help make this day an absolute blast for our students. Please note that for safety reasons we ask that siblings do not attend. In addition, if you have a pop-up tent that we can borrow for the day, we would greatly appreciate it. We are in need of 10 tents to provide shade for students and volunteers.

Here's everything you need to know to set your Sun King up for an amazing day:
👕 Wear a t-shirt and shorts — no swimsuits please! Students will get wet but will dry off quickly in the heat
🎒 Pack a change of clothes just in case
🧴 SUNSCREEN IS A MUST — it will be 95 degrees, so please apply before school and send some along!
💧 Bring a water bottle
🌟 Watch for your Sun King tattoo — students will be rocking them for school spirit!
