As Splatter & Thrive continues to grow, we’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on exactly who we are, who we hope to serve, and the impact we want to make.

Today, I want to share the mission and vision that will guide everything we build moving forward.

✨ Mission:

Splatter & Thrive creates creative spaces where art meets resilience to help people navigate life’s hardships.

✨ Vision:

Inspired by the belief that light shines through the deepest darkness, we empower the recovery community, students, and families to turn struggle into a canvas of hope.

At its heart, Splatter & Thrive exists to create opportunities for connection, encouragement, creativity, and hope.

We’re still in the process of building partnerships, developing programs, and laying the foundation for what’s ahead, but we’re excited about the future and grateful for everyone following along on this journey.

Sometimes it feels like starting over.

But growth doesn’t always happen in the light. Sometimes it begins in the middle of the chaos.

Easter is the ultimate reminder that no matter how deep the darkness feels, the light of Jesus always shines through. ✨ (John 1:5)

At Splatter and Thrive, we believe that the chaos of struggle can be transformed into a canvas of hope. Just as the cross led to the victory of the resurrection, our own ‘dead ends’ can be the start of a beautiful recovery and a new beginning. 🎨✝️

Why we splatter:

At Splatter & Thrive, our mission is rooted in a simple, powerful truth found in John 1:5:
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

Sometimes, life feels like that darkness—heavy, overwhelming, or quiet. But when we pick up a brush and let the neon fly, we are making a choice to let the light back in.

We splatter because:
1. Perfection isn't the goal; Expression is. Just as the light pierces the dark, every splat is a breakthrough.
2. Movement is healing. Finding your "pulse" on the canvas helps regulate the chaos within.
3. Hope is relentless. No matter how messy the canvas (or life) gets, the light—and your spirit—cannot be overcome. 💓🔥

We are officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! 🎉 Words can’t express how blessed and grateful we are for this milestone. This approval means we can expand our mission to bring the power of therapeutic art to even more people in our community.
