Breezy Parrot Rescue & Sanctuary 🐦

We are incredibly grateful for the support, love, and enthusiasm our community shows for our birds and our mission. We know many people would love to stop by and meet our flock, and we truly appreciate that interest.

However, Breezy Parrot Rescue & Sanctuary is a foster-based rescue, not a public facility. Our birds are housed in private foster homes, and for the safety, health, and well-being of both our birds and our foster families, our doors are not open to the general public.

All visits are by appointment only and only after the adoption process has been completed, including:
✅ Submission of an application
✅ Application approval
✅ Completion of a home check

To ensure fairness and consistency for everyone, there are no exceptions, special treatment, or expedited access, regardless of friendships, family connections, or familiarity with members of our organization. Our policies exist to protect our birds and the dedicated families who open their homes to them.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to put the welfare of our parrots first. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for the birds in our care.

We hit 3,500 followers!!!! 🎉🦜💙

I never dreamed we would grow as quickly as we have. When you do the right thing, your glow up turns out amazing. I’m beyond thankful for every supporter, volunteer, adopter, foster, donor, and every single person that believes in our mission.

Not all rescues are good, just like not all people are good. But one thing I can proudly say is that me and my team always try to be the best we can be every single day for these birds. We may not be the biggest or “best” rescue in the world, but our hearts are in this 100%, and we truly care about every life that comes through our doors. ❤️

I also want to give a huge shout out to all the neighboring rescues that work alongside us as a team. Rescue work is not easy, and having support and guidance means everything.

A VERY special shout out to my momma’s rescue, T&A Parrot Rescue, for teaching me the ropes and sharing all your experience with me. You helped shape Breezy Parrot Rescue into what it is today, and I’m forever grateful. 🫶

And of course, thank you to our amazing vet, Dr. Treese (Stephen) and the staff at All Pets Animal Hospital for always squeezing our flock in and helping our rescue friends when emergencies happen. You guys are hands down the best vet team we know, and we appreciate you more than words can explain. 🩺🦜
