Matthew Burns, Exec Dir of the Greater Gibson Area Economic Alliance, board members Bill Kirby and Tom Bennett and City Council member Denis Fisher, recently attended the 37th Rural Community Economic Development Conference in Springfield. This conference focused on rural opportunities and challenges; nonprofits, healthcare, manufacturing, working with K12 school systems, tourism, daycare and much more. Time well spent!
