We are a week away from our next Dine & Donate Event at P.J. Whelinghan's Pub & Restaurant in Deptford, NJ on Thursday, June 11th! Just mention our rescue to your waiter and 15% of all proceeds will be donated to our rescue! It's an all day event! So grab some lunch, maybe some apps or dinner and you will be supporting South Jersey Rescue 🐾❤️🍴

Still Available for Adoption!

The beautiful and very adventurous Shannon is still looking for the perfect home! She is a 3 year old shepherd/husky mix who has a super high pray drive and definitely needs appropriate exercise for working shepherd/husky! She is very loving and loyal too! Okay with dogs but can not be in a home with small animals, especially cats.

We will have some of our adoptable dogs and cats for you to meet and when you purchase a Electric Lemonade🍋, Tito's Homemade Vodka will donate $1 of each sold to SJR! So many ways to our support our rescue during this event and the best part, you can sit, drink and relax while doing it!

Still Available for Adoption!

Frankie is back at PetSmart in Deptford NJ and we are hoping this time around he gets a home!

He was pulled from a local shelter by our rescue. This sweet and loving boy is a little skittish at first but then wants all the attention. He doesn't like to be picked up. Probably best in a home with older children. He's good with other cats, but unknown on dogs.

He is FIV+ but he is perfectly fine to be around other cats. He is okay with dogs but will need slow intros! Many are afraid of FIV getting transferred to their other cats, but it's only transferred through deep biting, which Frankie is not aggressive. In fact he was attacked himself when he was on the streets and unable to defend himself. :( Please give our sweet boy a chance, he deserves the world! Questions about FIV? Message us! HELP!!! Kitten Season!!!

We currently have over 40 kittens (most not ready for adoption, we will post when they are so please do not inquire) that have come to our rescue within the past month. We are struggling to keep up with the requests we get to intake kittens because we only have so many fosters. This is exactly why is it so important to TNR or spay/neutered!!! It's the kittens that suffer! We take in the kittens we can, but many come to us very sick to the point we have lost a few and it takes an emotional toll on our rescue every time.

We our doing our part the best we can, but we really need the help! Please consider donation kitten food, kmr, litter, anything will help! We will take what we can get at this point because it is a rough season and it's only the beginning. Please be mindful we are maxed out on fosters and so are many other rescues. So please be patient!
