🏈🚑 Friday Night Football🚑🏈

Chatham Rescue Squad is proud to support the Chatham Central School District football team by providing dedicated EMS coverage during their games.

While the players take the field, our EMS crews are standing by to provide immediate medical assistance if needed—helping keep our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and spectators safe.

Providing EMS coverage at community events is just one of the many ways Chatham Rescue Squad is proud to serve and support our local community.
We wish the Chatham football team a safe, successful, and exciting season!

🏈 Go Chatham!

Today, the Chatham Rescue Squad joins our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, including the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS professionals, and other first responders who courageously answered the call—many making the ultimate sacrifice while helping others.

We also remember those who responded in the days, weeks, and months that followed, and those who continue to live with the lasting effects of their service.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness remain an enduring reminder of what it means
to serve others.

May we continue to honor their memory through service, compassion, and unity.

Please remember that our parking lot is reserved for our first responders and emergency personnel. It is essential that parking areas remain clear at all times so ambulances and emergency vehicles can safely enter and exit without delay.

We also ask all visitors and motorists to drive cautiously. Speeding through our parking lot is unacceptable and creates a safety risk for our personnel, patients, and visitors.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our first responders safe and ready to serve our community.

Caring for our community in more ways than one.

This morning, Chatham Rescue Squad responded alongside the Canaan Task Force to a structure fire in the Town of Canaan. Several of our members were on scene serving with their local volunteer fire departments, demonstrating their commitment to protecting our community both as EMTs and firefighters.

Pictured are Canaan Firefighter Neil Lindop, Canaan Fire Chief Aaron Lindop-Braun, Canaan Fire Captain Elijah Falkner, and Stuyvesant Falls Fire Captain Jacob Bortugno, all of whom are EMTs with Chatham Rescue Squad.

We are proud of their dedication, service, and commitment to helping others. Thank you for all that you do, and we are honored to have each of you as part of our team.

We can't thank Northern Columbia County Rotary enough for their continued support!!!

Earlier this year, along with other local Rotary groups, we donated Carter Kits to outfit the ambulances serving Columbia County, NY. These kits include sensory items like sunglasses, weighted blankets, and fidget toys that may help soothe an overwhelmed nervous system during a stressful time. They are especially helpful for children and those on the Autism spectrum.

We understand that some of those items, especially the fidget toys, may go missing or be damaged over time, so we're donating some spares in the hopes that our county ambulances will have them when they're needed.

Greenport Rescue Squad, Valatie Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc., Chatham Rescue Squad Inc, and Copake Rescue Squad, thank you so much for your hard work taking care of our community. Our members are coordinating, and packets of fidget toys will be on their way to you shortly.
