I loved making this Kinusaiga pride flag during my TikTok Live yesterday! Telling stories about the symbols of our culture, reflecting on my first pride after I came out as bi, and celebrating the different groups represented in the progress flag. Gave me SUCH good vibes! Happy Pride, everyone.

A frozen pipe burst under my home office back in Feb and today is the first day I can finally work in it again. The whole floor was ripped up, dried out, then replaced. I have been working this weird combo model out of boxes and at the dining room table for months. So relieved it’s at an end. Next week a crew rebuilds the wall storage on the opposite wall and I’ll truly be resettled!
I am taking it as an opportunity to reconfigure things and purge little knick knacks.

Reflecting on the goal of the work, expressing that, and being open as I figure that out. I’m a leader and someone with a vision, an artist, mother, girlfriend, optimist, lifelong learner, and new to social media marketing. Honestly, it helps when I DON’T think of this work as social media marketing. It’s sharing with you so we can build creatively together. I’ll do that best if I can be clear with my videos and I DO need to let you know when there is an actual ask, like signing up for an event or checking out another maker. Thank you for the support along the way. 🫶

I really love the effect made by this metallic thread in some of the background elements of this second luna moth piece. It’s a tricky material to work with but is worth the effort.
