I loooove this Halloween scene I made a couple years ago with scrapbook paper and a couple stickers. It’s an accordion style scene with different layers making this awesome dimensional effect.

I absolutely loved teaching today’s sewing class at the mcpl_libraries Rockville Library! The Montgomery County Government team that coordinates the mending labs set up this session focused on sewing patches- appliqué. I put together a simple handout covering the steps with pictures which worked out great. I talked through the steps and showed them the materials we’d use, then rotated between the kids and their projects. They did such a great job!! I love that I can pass on what I’ve learned over the years in such a welcoming, low pressure setting. Going at each person’s pace and comfort. Encouraging and getting genuinely excited over the finished results!

Shamelessly stealing an adorable flip through montage setup to show off these awesome postcards! Today I organized the massive swap of over 600 postcards between dozens of clubs around the world!!! I made sure people did not get cards from their own club, or multiple from the same club, and that there was a mix of destinations both sides of the swaps! Phew!!! Very pleased with my Excel use and patience today. Worldwide Craft Club is headed to your mailbox!
