Survivor Spotlight: Gabby Bouska

After discovering she had the CDH1+ gene, Gabby underwent a prophylactic gastrectomy to have her stomach removed.

“I was the first in my family to be diagnosed with a CDH1 mutation. At 20 years old, I felt alone early in my journey. Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer felt like a lifeline and with them I found a whole community of support and lifelong friends.”

Lisa joined Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer last weekend in Chicago at . This year’s annual meeting was themed “The Science and Practice of Translation: Improving Cancer Outcomes Worldwide”.

With over 44,000 professionals and 3,000 studies showcased, this conference was the perfect spot to spread awareness about stomach cancer and Debbie’s Dream Foundation!
