A Stage Reborn

A Stage Reborn We're a 501(c)(3) public benefit arts charity transforming access and mediums for the arts. Our nonprofit's mission is making arts more accessible.

A Stage Reborn™ is a regional Public Benefit nonprofit and a recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity for the arts. We were founded as a community organization in Seattle, Washington on October 31, 2015. We later became a registered charity in 2017, and expanded to western Nebraska in 2024. What do transformative works, digital mediums and learning opportunities have together? A new path for the vi

sual and performing arts experience. Our nonprofit prides itself on developing and pursuing opportunities that make the arts experience more accessible in a holistic sense -- from bringing live theatre to your favorite MMORPG to using digital tools to bring together creatives and creators, we are A Stage Reborn! But why stop there? We continuously review the opportunities transformative works and new approaches to the arts experience bring. We work with our staff to provide experiential learning so those who don't have the means to step on the digital stage can still gain valuable experience in the arts. We work closely with professionals in the real world to work towards offering digital programs that actually teach the skills, terminology and expectations you use in the real world. We may even break out of the screen every once in a while to do something in real life!

We told you we had some surprises in store for Tabor Days this year...

High Plains Mini-Con chose to partner with the Tabor Days Committee to host this year's Mini-Con during MINATARE'S annual Tabor Days celebration!

The event will be held inside The Broken Spoke next to Kelso Park, where it's rumored that Geno Bolger is going to be providing some bounce houses as well as a jousting circle! That should fit right in with mini-con! We'll see what happens there. We'll make that official announcement at another time.

For now, we are just super excited to announce this partnership with High Plains Mini-Con and look forward to having fun on August 30th in Minatare!

Also... August 6th!
📣📣The Minatare Library Board and other community members are looking into the possibility of getting a splash pad in Kelso Park. If you are interested in this project, please come to a meeting Wednesday August 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the Minatare Library.💦💦

Mini-App Buildathon Update!

You’re able to preview the draft of our build demo and entry here. The buildathon with Base Batch #001 - North America is to kickstart development both offline and online.

If selected, award proceeds will go towards Minatare for creative district development and continuing to build a hybrid experience that we hope will aid the city in regrowing its population while illustrating its community creativity and resilience.

This also brings an opportunity to further get the “win” and “put Minatare on the map” more like (Steve Pederzani) has been diligently working on with them on since last year when he was a grant writer for a small housing/development foundation in the panhandle.

We have a personal goal to revitalize that community center (Est. $60k+ Project) ASAP so we’re not stopping, even after that.

The Sherwood Foundation awarded us a grant of which we’re utilizing for this year’s expansion into creative district support and administration with a $10,000 budget that will be used to help power the District development and programs (like Tabor Days) this year, plus proceeds from further grants, donations, and other funding.

We know we’re new to the community and trust is also important. Not only are we involving and adding the city and regional local minds in the coming weeks, we also have a public ledger system almost ready to launch as well so everyone will be able to see what we get and where it goes. We’re creating ultimate transparency to prove what we do has impact and is sincere with where it goes in a way that enables the public to be a part of supporting and of the checks-and-balances to ensure the district develops the direction the community and city wants it to without waste.

We’re also going to work on making it trivial for locals to be involved online virtually OR offline in person using our app/map/website and local efforts. Things like recording and finding history, events, happenings, ideas and causes will all be connected through this District program.

Minatare is building the beginning of a new tomorrow brick by brick, block by block. We’re here to ensure they succeed. We’re out to change the world. Let’s prove arts is inherent in even regional and global economic development. 😉

It takes a lot of work to start something like this, and often needs professional assistance, so this is being done unpaid and provided completely free for the city using our volunteer pool of experts- data collection, compliance, records, everything- we will make it so the city and its citizens merely have to lead artful lives, and we’ll fill in the rest to ensure that translates to community growth and city-wise revitalization.

Starting with +1 district to the 34+ others we can connect to and share with the world.

Transformative works transform the world.

Another month building.

We know the challenges of district development and we are the transformative organization that can and will solve local and regional challenges and gaps so people can better harness the symbiotic bridge between arts and community development.
