Most unhoused (homeless) people are also food insecure.
Most unhoused (homeless) people did not choose to live this way.
Look a little deeper into the causes of homelessness.. it can happen quicker than you think, and can start a spiral that is nearly impossible to get out of without help.
Also consider what privileges you may have that others may not, extending grace rather than judgement, and gratitude rather than entitlement.

Our Pantry Partners are the recipients of all the food we collect every other month of the year. Your consistent donation of healthier choices keep households afloat during tough times, and Jubilee Food Pantry is focused on Williamson County Head Start families. The pantry is open to the public once each month, and registration is required so that recipients know where, when, and what to expect at each pickup.

Texas Honey Ham Company at 4720 Williams Dr #220,Georgetown, TX, has been supporting us since the beginning! They're the ones responsible for the delicious variety of breakfast tacos (and flavor filled sauce 🌶) that our pickup day volunteers enjoy while sorting through the food our diligent Neighborhood Coordinators have dropped off from generous Food Donors. Getting paid for volunteering with these tacos is definitely a win!
When we re-started the Food for Every Table meetings in Georgetown in May 2026, co-owner Rob immediately said he would be happy to provide lunch for our local community who get together monthly to talk about what we can do and are doing to meet the needs of our food insecure neighbors. It takes a village, and that village needs to work together to find creative solutions to the hard issue in our society.

This is Allison's reason for being a wholehearted supporter of the from the first moment she heard about our mission. She and her neighbor Holly have been co-Neighborhood Coordinators for over a year, making every other month's pickup days a fun time for togetherness.
When they show up at the collection site to drop off their carload of green bags, the positivity they radiate is contagious! We are so excited to welcome her to our Board of Directors!

The idea of a Meal Challenge usually shows up as entertainment: a food blogger or a home cook sets themselves a goal and treats it as a game. In this case, a ten-dollar limit for the day.
What if you had only $10 a day to work with for a full week? Going out to eat when you get bored with cooking is not an option in this challenge...
Federal nutrition assistance in 2026 averages a little over six dollars a day per person, and the maximum benefit for a family of four comes to just under a thousand dollars a month — roughly eight dollars a day for the whole household, not each person in it. So the honest version of this question isn’t “can you pull off a clever ten-dollar dinner once.” It’s “can a family actually eat, nutritiously, day after day, on money this tight.”

We had a GREAT response to our call to support Annunciation Maternity Home during the pickup / distribution event on Saturday September 19, 2026! At the same time, we were able to distribute almost 3,000 pounds of food to the SU Pirate Pantry, Helping Hands of Georgetown, TX , Carver Center for Families , Neighbors Serving Neighbors , Jubilee Food Pantry (at HeadStart Georgetown), The Caring Place , and Stonehaven Resident Council Pantry.
