It’s so hard to believe that we are so close to starting a new Year! Bryan and I want to thank our followers, supporters, and donators for all of your support over the last 3 years. Thanks to your support we have been able to make donations to Family Justice of Georgetown, Oxford Recovery and Christian Recovery.
I have been very outspoken concerning corruption in law enforcement, and our Judicial system. I have openly stated that I believe the Todd family used their relationships with law enforcement and local judges to keep Ron from ever suffering the consequences of his many crimes, resulting in the murders of Emily and Ashley. I also believe that actions were taken during the investigation to prevent certain information and evidence from coming to light, but Justice was served anyway! I have spoken on Live 5 News, we have reached out to Sled, FBI, politicians, ATF, Probation and Parole, the questions have been asked, but no answers have been given.
The bottom line is that money talks and we were unable to raise enough to hire an attorney to file lawsuits against local and state law enforcement and branches of our state judicial system. Bryan I reached out to dozens of attorneys and they turned us down.
There are other similar cases that have recently been in the news and I hope they continue to fight. I have, over the last 3 years reached out to other families and none have responded. I believe if everyone in this state, who have lost a loved one because our judicial system failed them would come together we could move mountains!
After much consideration and prayers Bryan and I have decided to close Emily’s Way Foundation. We still have funds that will need to be disbursed, I wanted to reach out to all of our supporters for your suggestions, please let me know, I will need to make those donations by year end. It will need to be a 501C3 non - profit that supports our causes.
If there is ever anything that I can help with or just support you, please know I am still here for you all!
I’m proud of the many locals that stood up, spoke out, testified and who I am especially proud to call friends. A big thank you to Trevor Day for sponsoring some of our events! Thank you to the friends who helped with our events and fund raising efforts. Thank you to Reds on Shem creek for your unending support from the first event you sponsored for us.
With much love and gratitude,
Ann Stewart
