The Kiwanis Club of the Southern Hills Region met in June to recognize the winners of the 5th grade poster contest, the Key Club members who received service awards, and the recipients of the college scholarships. Congratulations to all.

Anyone can donate.

If you have formal dresses that you no longer want or need, Impacting Tomorrow will take them off your hands!

Many of our guests are still on the hunt for dresses for school dances and we want to get them what they need.

Dresses can be dropped off at the center Monday-Friday 9-3 or Saturday 9-1 (we will be closed Friday 3/29 and Saturday 3/30).

Donations can also be dropped at our office at 5163 Wolfpen Pleasant Hill Rd Monday-Friday 8-5.

EHS Key Club volunteered at Crayons to Computers, a non-profit free school supply store for teachers who work at schools in the 15-county area of greater Cincinnati. They support teachers from over 400 schools in the Cincinnati area. C2C has several programs which generate products for teachers and needy students.

With 17 students and 3 adult supervisors, the group was able to volunteer a total of 60 hours.

Today we held our club meeting at the Brown County Chamber of Commerce board room/meeting. We had 2 guests that turned into 2 new members.

Members of the Eastern Key Club visited with Diana Lawrence earlier this week at Troop Box Ministries near Hamersville. The students delivered and sorted donated items for future boxes that will be sent to active duty members of the military. Students assisting with the delivery included Madison Dyer, Raylee Brummett, and Vivian Grimes.

Annie Grimes, Brandy Shular, and Vivian Grimes represented Eastern High School at the Key Club Fall Leadership Rally held at the Columbus Zoo on Oct. 29th. Members participated in a service project to make dog toys for an animal shelter, a zoo scavenger hunt, and a workshop to learn strategies for member recruiment.

This afternoon Adrianne Moran, president and CEO of the Brown County Chamber of Commerce, met with the Key Club members at Eastern High School. Students learned about the Chamber's mission and began exploring ideas for service opportunities.
