Think Geneva Community Association Inc. is building a creative and entrepreneurial community hub for youth and young adults in Geneva and the surrounding Finger Lakes region.
We have the vision.
We have the location.
We have the concept.
Now we're building the leadership team.
We are seeking dependable, passionate and community-minded individuals who genuinely have a heart for young people and want to help build something that can have a lasting impact.
This is not simply an opportunity to volunteer for a few hours.
We are looking for FOUNDING LEADERS.
People who want to help shape programs, build relationships, mentor young people and help Think Geneva grow from the ground up.

5 FOUNDING LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
1. YOUTH PROGRAM LEADER
Help create an environment where young people feel supported, challenged and inspired.
Responsibilities may include:
• Helping coordinate youth activities
• Supporting workshops and programs
• Mentoring participants
• Communicating with parents when appropriate
• Helping recruit additional mentors
• Maintaining a positive and safe environment
Great fit for: educators, coaches, youth workers, mentors, counselors, college students and individuals passionate about youth development.

2. COMMUNITY OUTREACH LEADER
Become one of the bridges between Think Geneva and the community.
Responsibilities may include:
• Building relationships with schools and organizations
• Connecting with churches and community groups
• Reaching out to parents and families
• Attending community events
• Developing collaborative partnerships
• Helping increase awareness of Think Geneva
Great fit for: outgoing, relationship-oriented people who enjoy networking and connecting people.

3. FUNDRAISING & SPONSORSHIP LEADER
Help us build relationships with businesses and organizations that want to invest in young people.
Responsibilities may include:
• Identifying potential sponsors
• Contacting local businesses
• Helping prepare sponsorship opportunities
• Supporting fundraising campaigns and events
• Developing community donor relationships
• Following up with prospective partners
Great fit for: people with backgrounds in sales, fundraising, business development, banking, nonprofit development or community relations.

4. CREATIVE & ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM LEADER
Help young people turn their creativity into skills, confidence and potentially businesses.
We are especially interested in people with experience or interest in:
• Fashion
• T-shirt design/printing
• Graphic design
• Music production
• Photography/video
• Artificial intelligence
• Technology
• Social media
• Entrepreneurship
• Branding
• Financial education
You don't have to know everything.
Bring the skill you have and help us expose young people to possibilities they may have never considered.

5. OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATIVE LEADER
Every great vision needs someone who can help keep things organized.
Responsibilities may include:
• Scheduling
• Registration
• Phone/email follow-up
• Volunteer coordination
• Maintaining basic records
• Organizing meetings
• Helping establish operating procedures
• Keeping projects and deadlines moving
Great fit for: organized individuals who enjoy making things run efficiently.

Because some positions may involve direct interaction with minors, selected volunteers may be required to complete appropriate screening and background-check procedures before working directly with youth.

These are currently VOLUNTEER leadership opportunities.
We want to be transparent from the beginning.
Think Geneva is in its building stage. We are looking for individuals who believe in the mission and want the opportunity to help shape the organization from the ground up.
As the organization develops funding and sustainable revenue, its staffing needs may evolve. However, no future paid position or compensation is guaranteed.
