Point of Break is a nonprofit organization offering low-cost school assemblies to ensure all schools have access. Our programs focus on kindness, respect, and self-worth, empowering students to stand against bullying and lead with integrity. Our Steps of Kindness Initiative raises funds to provide free assemblies for underfunded schools and new shoes for students in need.

The biggest message I truly want students to understand is that they are valuable, their words and actions have power, and they have the potential to be great leaders of integrity.

Each illustration, feat of strength, and interaction is designed to reinforce those core values.

You may not be a kid, but this message applies to you too! You are valuable and important. The way you respond to others matters, and you have the potential for greatness!

It was a very busy summer for us and I loved it!

But honestly, I get really excited this time of year as fall approaches. I’m ready to get back into the schools doing assemblies!

And as we head into another school year, I want to encourage the teachers, staff, counselors, administrators, coaches, and everyone else who works with kids:

You are making a difference in their lives.

Keep showing up.
Keep encouraging them.
Keep pouring into them.
They need you!

Sometimes you may not see the impact you're having right away, but what you do matters more than you probably ever realize.

I loved the energy of these kids at this Boys & Girls Club!

In the picture where I’m holding my hands up, I had just told these two lil guys that I was getting ready to pick them up over my head!

I think they were pretty excited about that! 😂

I love moments like these. The energy, laughter, and excitement from the kids make every program so much fun!

Our August 2026 Point of Break Newsletter is here!

It's been an incredible summer of festivals, outreach, summer camps, anti-bullying assemblies, and reaching students across the country.

We also have some exciting updates on our Steps of Kindness shoe program, our big vision for 2026, and a story from Florida that reminded us why we do what we do.

So last several assemblies, we weren’t able to bring the log. Today is the logs first show! I hope it goes up. It’s super awkward. lol

What if a school assembly show could actually stick with students and campers long after it ends? Not just something they watch, but something they experience.

We partner with schools and summer camps to deliver high-energy, interactive programs that go beyond entertainment and create a lasting impact.

Through powerful demonstrations like breaking bricks and lifting a massive strongman log overhead, students and campers are fully engaged and experience lessons they will not forget.

This is what that looks like in action:

Each program is customized by grade level, K to 12, and runs 35 to 45 minutes.

Hey guys, meet the new addition to our assemblies.

This Strong Man Log is an absolute tank. Heavy and very awkward. The tires actually spin when I lift it, which is kind of cool but also makes it feel unbalanced and unstable lol.

So I think it’s got to have a name!
