NAACP Gastonia Branch 5394-B's 2nd Annual Expungement Clinic was nothing short of extraordinary.

Over 611 people walked through our doors seeking a second chance, hope, and the opportunity to move beyond mistakes of the past. For many, this wasn't just paperwork. It was the possibility of employment, stable housing, educational opportunities, and restoring dignity. Some lives were truly changed today.

This is what community looks like.

This is what happens when organizations come together with a shared purpose and a commitment to justice.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners: Second Chance Federation, 101 Black Men of Highland, Black Voters Matter, the volunteer attorneys, the District Attorney's Office, and every single volunteer who gave their time, talent, and energy to serve others.

To everyone who registered people, answered questions, directed traffic, prepared food, completed paperwork, offered legal guidance, and simply showed up ready to help—you mattered. Your service made a difference.

Second chances matter because people are more than the worst mistake they have ever made.

Today, 611 people were reminded that their story isn't over.

We could not have done this without you.

Thank you for helping us turn hope into action and service into transformation.
