Today was opening day for Little League ⚾️

While the Rotary Club of Garfield proudly sponsors our local softball team, it was amazing to come out and support all of the young athletes kicking off their season today.

Moments like this bring our commUNITY together… kids playing, families cheering, and everyone showing up for one another.

Today, we had the honor of joining our city in planting a tree in celebration of Arbor Day 🌳

Each year, a new tree is planted, bringing people together in a shared commitment to our environment and our future.

Garfield is truly something special. A commUNITY that shows up, supports one another, and takes pride in creating something meaningful together.

We’re so grateful that Rotary could be part of this moment. It’s a reminder that even the smallest acts can grow into something lasting for generations to come. 💛💙

So much impact in one space… and it doesn’t stop here 💙

We recently had the honor of coming together for a powerful evening of connection, conversation, and community at our April 1st Rotary meeting. Being in a room with people who genuinely care about making a difference is something I never take for granted.

And this is exactly what it leads to…

Opportunities. Resources. Support for those who need it most.

I’m sharing this upcoming JOBS Program Career & Resource Fair because this is what action looks like beyond the meeting walls. Real people, real resources, real change.

Yesterday’s meeting was such a wonderful experience! We were honored to welcome Master Pascual Pacheco , Olympian and Taekwondo Master, who shared inspiring stories, wisdom, and his deep commitment to empowering youth in our community.
He brought so much positive energy and fun to the group, and everyone truly enjoyed his presence.

We are grateful for the time he spent with us and look forward to welcoming him back to future meetings — and perhaps even one day as a member of our Rotary family. 💛
