Join us tonight for our Garfield Rotary evening meeting! 💙💛

We’re excited to welcome our RYLA students to share about their experience, along with Gabby from Interact. It’s always wonderful hearing directly from the young people Rotary supports and seeing the next generation of service leaders in action.

📍 Firehouse Restaurant, Garfield
🕕 6:00 PM

Come learn more about Rotary, connect with our community, and see what we’re working toward together. We’d love to have you!

Garfield Rotary Club came together to clean up and care for the monument area on river road. 💙 💛

A simple act of service, but a meaningful way to show love for our commUNITY.

Thank you to everyone who came together with us this morning for our 9/11 remembrance. ❤️🇺🇸

A special thank you to Alejandina Sugar Banch director of the Rec Center, Pastor John Czub, Pastor Becky, and our Mayor Everett Garnto for taking the time to be there and share this moment with our community.

Even Rich Rigoglioso for trying to get there!

It may have been a short remembrance, but for the Garfield Rotary Club, this is only the beginning of creating more moments of service, connection, and kindness within our commUNITY.

September 11th will always carry grief, but I also hope we can allow this day to remind us of our humanity and how much the smallest acts matter.

Hold the door for someone. Say thank you. Smile at a stranger. Buy someone a coffee. Check on a neighbor.

Kindness does not have to be extravagant to make a difference.

May we continue to honor those we lost by choosing compassion, connection, and service whenever we can.

We will never forget. And we will keep choosing kindness. ❤️🇺🇸

Today is International Literacy Day! 🙌 a day to celebrate reading and writing - the gift that connects us all! 🎉📚

We want to mark this day by sharing the remarkable story of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and how Rotary supports her dream of putting books into children’s hands around the world 🌍🤝

Dolly created the Imagination Library as a tribute to her father, who Dolly regarded as one of the smartest people she had ever known, despite him never learning how to read and write.

Read the full story of how the project which started in Sevier County, Tennessee, has become the successful International programme that it is today ✨
