VFW Post 3261 Auxiliary Secretary Rosalind Jenkins accepting $200 in Target gifts cards from Commander James "Jimmy C" Carradine for housing supplies for homeless veterans who recently moved into housing

May 13 - VFW Post 3261 sponsored a Lions Mobile Screening Unit (MSU). The MSU screens for diabetes, hearing, vision, and blood pressure. Forty community members signed up for screening. I signed up for the hearing test and am happy to say that I passed.

We were able to distribute two pallets of Cup of Noodles to our local veteran hospitals. Our team players were, Rosalind Jenkins, Anthony Dixon, James Carradine, Garret Lark, Brion Jackson, Shondell Henderson, Austin Tanaka, and the hospital volunteers at each hospital.

Mother’s Day Basket was presented to Mary Luna, who will turn 100 years old on October 27, 2023. The City of Gardena nominated Ms. Luna to receive the basket, which was provided by VFW Post 3261.
