On Monday, 15 December, 2025 and as part of activities marking the yuletide, a delegation of the Archbishop JKA Aggey Foundation went on Courtesy visits to select Charity Homes in and outside Lagos State.
According to the President of the Foundation in the US who led the delegation, Sir Albert T. Fadonougbo, "Our emphasis on the Christmas season of love, giving and sharing cannot be overstated."
First to receive the delegation is the Antonietta Farani Orphanage Home in Ijébu-Ode, Ogun State and on hand to speak with us is Reverend Mother Juliet Emereonye- Head of the Home.
Head, Media and External Relations, the Archbishop Aggey Foundation, Mr. Tosin Akande led a special session with the children after which the head of delegation, Sir Fadonougbo presented a cheque worth Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira.
In her response, Reverend Mother Emereonye expressed gratitude to the Foundation.
Speaking, "We are very thankful for this great work of charity by the Archbishop Aggey Foundation. It only underlies our rich history of working together. We are so grateful." She concluded.
Michelle Aiyeóla, a 10-year old girl-pupil in the facility volunteered to respond on behalf of the children and she did it excellently.
Coincidentally, one of the students, Esther Sonóla clocked 13 on the day and everyone rejoiced with her. She, it was whose ambition is to become a Police officer.
Having had resounding success in Ijébu-Ode, the delegation arrived Lagos in time at the Old People's Home at Regina Mundi, Mushin, Lagos.
It was fanfare as members of the delegation interacted with the old inmates at the facility.
Following a request by the Head of the Home, Reverend Sister Josephine Titiloye, and the consent of the President of the Foundation, Sir Fadonougbo, Akande, again, led a session with the old inmates and what a time of sweet emotions it turned out to be. They danced and bantered.
One of them, Pa Britto, is the older brother of Dr. Anthony Britto who, incidentally works with the California office of the Aggey Foundation. Sir Fadonougbo placed a call across to the US- and the brothers had a swell time, re-uniting again on phone following the charitable works of the Aggey Foundation.
Sir Fadonougbo went on to present the cheque worth Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira to the authorities of the Home much to the delight of everyone.
Responding on behalf of the aged inmates, Pa Britto expressed deep thanks to the Foundation, praying for more of their impact after which a brief photograph session took place and the delegation left for yet another Home.
We arrived the Modupe Cole Orpanage at Akóka and were received by the Vice Principal of the facility, Mr. Isaac Ajani. The Principal, we were told, was on official engagement, outside the Home.
Sir Fadonougbo thereafter presented the cheque to an obviously-elated Mr. Ajani.
In his response, he said; "The Home appreciates this measure of kindness from the Archbishop Aggey Foundation and we can only hope for a stronger partnership with you. God bless your humanitarian efforts."
"You can see that the children are happy to see you." He quipped.
The delegation took photographs with a cross-section of the children to round off in Akóka, Lagos, the move that started at the Antonietta Farani Orphanage in Ijébu-Ode, Ogun State.
