Vickie's IBC Angels

Vickie's IBC Angels Inflammatory breast cancer is a rare and very aggressive form of the disease. Vickie's I.B.C. Angels At age 53, Victoria M.

(Farnsworth) Johnson, a native of Moreau, N.Y., was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. Her struggles and triumphs have proven to be a roller coaster of highs and lows. Less than 1% of women diagnosed with breast cancer have inflammatory breast cancer. Given the rarity of this disease, it should be noted that breast cancer does not run in her family, and when found, is statistically more li

kely in African Americans and/or overweight people; she fits in neither category. Beginning with double doses of chemo, side effects including hair loss, stress and weight gain have added to the financial and emotional toll this disease has placed upon her. She was removed from work, after having worked her whole life — sometimes having two jobs. Vickie has two children and five grandchildren, as well as extended family and dear friends, who love her tremendously.
