Our July Harborside Clean Up is in the books, and it’s all thanks to you. The volunteers who came out this month were the heart of it — working the docks and walkways, filling bag after bag, and giving their Saturday to our harbor. Watching this crew grow month after month never gets old, and every single person who showed up left the waterfront better than they found it. 💙

You are why this keeps happening. First-timers and regulars alike — thank you for caring about this place as much as we do. 🙌

Hello everyone,

As you know our July cleanup is next Sunday the 26th at 8 AM to 9 PM. I am here to deliver news that someone ran a stop sign and hit Galveston‘s beloved Groovy Grind Coffee Co. truck this morning. Groovy Grind is here for our community 5 days a week in the morning through afternoon. Groovy Grind has also partnered with Harborside Clean Up - Galveston from the very 1st one in March and every month since. It is time for us to show up for her now. Groovy Grind is open today, DESPITE the unforeseen event that occurred this morning.
Unfortunately, the damage caused is not a quick fix. We are not sure when they will be open again. This is especially sad. Please, if you have time, go to Groovy Grind Coffee Co. TODAY and show your support.

I am there 5 days a week in the morning for a reason. I set an alarm 15 min before she opens and leap out of bed. I am excited the night before the days she opens because her coffee is THAT good. She has the best coffee I have had in my lifetime. I get the Aunt Dottie iced coffee and Boomer gets his usual pup cup. I don’t have to tell her my order anymore — only confirm it.

It’s time for us to show up for her.

Thank you Cera for all that you do showing up for the community and valuing us like family. We value you. We are here for you.

P.S the cleanup is still happening, though, no Groovy Grind this time.
