Community Project THIS SATURDAY

The Mary Moody Northen Endowment seeks volunteers from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, to help Boy Scouts assemble picnic tables at Galveston’s Moody Mansion, 2618 Broadway, for Texas A&M Galveston, Artist Boat, Galveston Beach Patrol, Galveston Urban Ministries, O'Connell College Preparatory School, Galveston Island Humane Society, and Shine USA.
Houston ToolBank will provide tools, expertise and ready-to-assemble materials.
Lunch and water will be provided, and each volunteer will receive a free pass to Moody Mansion for use on a date of their choice.
