Taking a moment to look back on some key moments that brought Duane’s Eagle Scout project to life!

These photos capture where it all began through out the year is took him to complete it. Duane’s first meeting with Father Cadena, who graciously approved Christ the King Parish as the beneficiary of his project. His support helped set the foundation for everything that followed. Thank you, Father Cadena, for believing in Duane and giving him the opportunity to serve the parish community. 🙏

Also pictured is the moments is when Duane’s persistence paid off after countless letters sent requesting support, McCoy’s Building Supply generously donated the materials needed to construct the display case that eventally cane to be. Huge thanks to McCoy’s for answering the call and helping make this project a reality. 🛠️👏

These photos also highlight the many hands and hearts behind the build Scouts, Scout leaders, family, and friends all came together to design, build, and support Duane every step of the way. It truly takes a village, and this project was a shining example of teamwork and dedication.

To families considering the Scouting journey: Scouting is a labor of love and service. With heart, effort, and support, every Scout can shape their own path to becoming an Eagle Scout just like Duane.

We hope this Flashback Friday inspires others to take that first step. 🦅💙

In honor of Father’s Day, I would like to say “Thank You” to all the Scouting dads out there who know the importance of creating a positive and supportive environment for learning and growth for their children. Scouting Dads dedicate their time and talent to teaching our youth the leadership and outdoor skills they need to become thriving adults. We are extremely grateful to have such awesome fathers who are truly involved and invested in our youth. Thank you for all you do for your children and your community! You are truly making a difference!
