Before there was a can , there was a mission, and there were people who believed in it.

Texas Shoreline Water Company would not be here without everyone who has supported Texas Shoreline over the years. Every person who showed up for a cleanup, carried a bag, shared a post, donated, volunteered, encouraged us, or simply believed that our Texas coast was worth protecting helped bring us to this moment.

You are a major part of this story.

This water company was built to help strengthen and support the mission we started together, reducing single use plastic and protecting the coastline that gives so much back to all of us.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has been part of Texas Shoreline. Look what we built together.

God opened the doors, and together, we kept walking through them.

Real change happens one decision at a time.

This week we visited the Houston Zoo, and I left encouraged.

Their exhibit shows what can happen when an organization commits to reducing single use plastics.

Every year, they’re eliminating:

- 300,000 single use plastic bottles

- 80,000 plastic bags

- 23,000 plastic straws

That’s meaningful impact.

I also noticed they’re offering beverages in aluminum cans instead of plastic bottles. It’s another
reminder that businesses have choices, and those choices can reduce the amount of single use
plastic entering our communities.

Protecting the Texas coast won’t come from one person or one organization. It happens when
nonprofits, businesses, and individuals all move in the same direction.

Every better choice matters.

Together, we can build a cleaner Texas coast.

🇺🇸 250 Years of America. One Coast Worth Fighting For. 🇺🇸

For 250 years, Americans have fought, sacrificed, built, explored, and protected the freedoms we enjoy today.

Here on the Texas coast, we’re reminded everyday that freedom comes with responsibility.

The Gulf that feeds us, heals us, inspires us,and brings millions of families together each year deserves more than our admiration, it deserves our stewardship.

At Texas Shoreline, we believe patriotism isn’t just flying our flag. It’s leaving this place better than we found it. It’s protecting the waters that have shaped generations of Texans and Americans alike.

As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary,we’re grateful for the freedom we’ve been given, the coastline we’ve inherited, and the opportunity to preserve it for those who come after us.

God Bless America.
God Bless the Texas Coast.

This picture should bother you.

Not because it’s water.

Because it’s plastic.

Plastic sitting in the Texas sun.

Plastic that eventually becomes litter, fragments, and microplastics.

Plastic that researchers are now finding in human blood, lungs, arteries, and reproductive tissue.

We act like the problem starts when a bottle washes onto a beach.

The truth is, that’s the end of the story.

The story starts long before that.

Maybe it’s time we stop asking how to recycle more plastic and start asking why we’re still
wrapping our drinking water in it.

The coast is paying for it.

Wildlife is paying for it.

And increasingly, so are we.

Today is National Donut Day and World Environment Day. We choose to promote the latter. Please remember to dispose of litter responsibly and to reduce single-use plastics. We all deserve the best environment possible!

We spent part of the day on Bolivar picking up trash, but today isn’t about trash.

It’s about recognizing businesses that are doing things right.

We stopped by Latitude 29.2 Surf Shop and noticed something simple that matters, a reusable
shopping bag instead of another disposable plastic bag.

Small choices add up. Businesses that care about the coast, the beach, and the community
deserve our support.

We appreciate seeing local businesses taking steps in the right direction, and we’re happy to
spend our money with people who share the same mindset.

If you’re on Bolivar, stop in and check them out.

Thanks for doing your part, Latitude. We’ll definitely be back.

Thanks to some good people that got out before we did, much of the weekend chaos was already collected. Even still, we collected 79.9 lbs of trash off Retillon Rd. Trash cans are everywhere and there was even a roll off dumpster, yet people chose not to use them. We stopped at the cross and quickly collected another 7.8 lbs. And we were blessed to see the wonderful Carlis Cole with Keep Bolivar Beautiful
