We are pleased to share an opportunity to be actively involved in shaping the response to one of the fastest growing addictions--gambling. Centerstone, our Prevention Resource Center, is coming to Gallatin to start conversations and create an environment for community members to shape how local, gambling-related treatment, prevention, and recovery services may be delivered. Per the National Council on Problem Gambling, "nearly eight in ten Americans (79%) believe gambling addiction in the U.S. is as serious or more serious than other types of addiction like alcohol or drug addiction."
If you would like to be part of this focus group conversation, please join us this Monday at The Well.

Our final Share the Love collection this school year is clear water bottles. Items may be dropped off at the elementary building or at the Daviess County Library. We appreciate all of the donations this school year!

It may be hard to believe but it is time to register for our annual Gallatin R-V Back to School Bazaar. We have started making plans and believe we will have a delightful event on Aug. 6th. Please register now. Registration helps us and our partners plan for the event. It also is the only way to ensure you can get school supplies, shoes, and hygiene kits as well as other items through Bright Futures.

ALL ARE WELCOME and encouraged to join us! Once again, we are celebrating back to school by gathering for a Gallatin R-V district-wide event. We have the best community of volunteers around us. One of our supporters noticed there was a dark area near our entry at The Well. He began a conversation that led to a light getting installed in that space. That light now shines brightly over our original Bright Futures shirt from 2017. This particular shirt belonged to an original board member, Phil Tate, and was “shadow boxed” by another volunteer board member. To say we are deeply grateful for each, and every person and each, and every act of service given to our organization would still be an understatement.
It’s an honor to be part of something that is greater than the sum of its parts. 🧡

April is here and we're not fooling when we say deodorant is a pressing need! Share the Love this month is non-aerosol deodorant~just in time for rising temps. All donations may be dropped off at any school building or at the Daviess County Library. Your donations do make a difference each school day!
