As the countdown to the first day of school approaches, start having these types of courageous conversations. Make regular conversations (not lectures) with your kids the norm!

A new school year brings fresh opportunities, big and small. Taking a minute to talk about goals can help kids think intentionally about what they want to learn, try, improve, or accomplish in the months ahead. Whether it's making a new friend, raising a grade, joining a club, or simply staying organized, these conversations can help build confidence and motivation. Ask this question sometime this week and see where the conversation leads.
