✨️ Great events take creativity, experience, and a team that enjoys making it all happen.✨️

CommunityGro is heading into our BIGGEST year of signature events yet, and we’re building a strong volunteer Event Planning Committee to match!

Have experience in event planning, promotion, partnerships, logistics, or coordinating vendors and volunteers? We’d love to have you at the table.

Message us with your experience and what you’d love to contribute!

Everything I know and love about aeroponics, I learned training and working at this exact farm with incredible mentorship inside Skagway Brewing Company! 🥰

The goal was to bring that knowledge and skill set to Galesburg and implement it through CommunityGro to eventually create a year round growing season. I want to close the seasonal gap of fresh food accessibility as much as possible and this is one of the ways I can use my expertise to do it.

If you're interested in this kind of work and building something from the ground up...literally and figuratively, there’s room for you on our Steering Committee!

As the vertical farming industry reckons with failed investments and broken business models, one small Alaska farm is finding a niche by solving a very local problem.
