2021-2022 is the program's thirteenth year serving the students in Galax. The participants receive a bag of food at the end of each week during the school year. Example of weekly food bag: jar PNB, canned chunk chicken, 3 pop top meals, 2 cereals, 2 juice boxes, 2 pudding cups, 2 fruit cups, 2 granola bars and 2 nab packs.All children in the Galax Backpack Buddies program must have parent/guardian permission, along with food allergy information.
