Dear Parents and Families,
My name is María E. Montero, and I am the Owner and President of Leadership Youth Development, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering young people, families, and community members.
I am excited to introduce our organization as we begin working more closely with our community. Our mission is to create opportunities that help children, youth, and adults develop important skills, reach their goals, and become strong leaders within our community.
As we grow, Leadership Youth Development, Inc. will be offering a variety of programs and services, including:
• SSL (Student Service Learning) hours for students looking to volunteer and give back to their community
• Tutoring sessions in different subjects for children of all grade levels
• Leadership and personal development opportunities for youth and young adults
• Community service and volunteer opportunities
• Job and employment opportunities as our programs continue to expand
• Opportunities for adults and young adults to mentor, volunteer, and make a positive impact in the lives of others
We are currently looking for young adults and adults who are interested in giving back to the community, sharing their skills, mentoring our youth, volunteering their time, or becoming involved in future programs.
Our goal is to build a strong community where our children and young people have access to support, education, mentorship, and opportunities to grow—not only academically, but also personally and professionally.
I look forward to introducing Leadership Youth Development, Inc. to our community and working together with families, educators, volunteers, and community leaders to make a positive difference.
