March Meet-Up: Let’s SING! 🎶

This month, we’re gathering at the Hippodrome Theatre for a one-of-a-kind vocal experience led by our Director of Community Engagement, where we’ll learn, rehearse, and perform a song together—all in one evening.

No experience necessary, no judgment—just the joy of using your voice! Singing has been shown to reduce stress, boost mood, and even improve brain function—and what better way to experience that than in fellow creative community?

Meet-Up Details:
📅 Date: Thursday, March 20th
⏰ Time: 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 Location: Hippodrome Theatre Basement (Rehearsal) & Front Steps (Performance)
🔞 Ages: 18+
💲 Cost: $8 registration fee

We know that we are coming into the busiest time of year for creatives who sell work at markets.

As such, our last meet-up of 2024 will be next week, on Thursday November 21st at Dad’s Bar! 🍷🍻🍸🥃🍶🍵
(We skip December for holiday makers, but will be back in January).

From 6:30-8pm, join us for a wind down bev and share with likeminded creatives about the challenges of selling art, as well as celebrate each other’s wins 🏆

For new artists and creatives, stepping out to sell for the first time can be daunting, perpetuate imposter syndrome, etc. But this month, we have Fi Simler from to save us from our shame 🙈As a ceramicist and creative marketing coach, Fi will share a creative practice for leaning into empowered, authentic marketing for yourself— unapologetically.

Share in open discussion with us and learn about some practical applications for actually selling your art (i.e. how different modalities vary in this process, which websites provide platforms for selling, and how to find the confidence you need to sell unapologetically.)
