We had the pleasure of spending part of this past weekend alongside hundreds of our community members at the breathtaking site of Fort Motte⚔️

Our second annual Founding Mothers’ Day, featured living historians, interactive programs, site tours, a picnic, and a special recognition of Luther Wannamaker with the Order of the Palmetto.

It was a wonderful day honoring the women who played a major role in shaping our early nation, and the people carrying out their legacy today🇺🇸

What an incredible opening night for The First Oval Office Project in Charleston🇺🇸

Guests got an up-close look inside the hand-stitched replica of General George Washington’s Revolutionary War headquarters tent, the mobile command center that helped guide the fight for American independence and inspired what many call America’s first Oval Office.

If you missed opening night, there’s still time to visit. The exhibit is FREE and open to the public today until 6 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Rivers Green at the College of Charleston. Step inside history and experience the Revolution in a whole new way. Huzzah! 🇺🇸⚔️

The American Revolution wasn't powered by innovation alone... but innovation sure did help help win it⚔

From new ideas and inventions to bold problem-solvers willing to challenge the status quo, ingenuity has been a part of the American story from the very beginning.

This summer, SC250 is proud to partner with the Center of Science and Innovation (COSI) to put 250 American Innovation Kits into the hands of South Carolina students. From Clemson University and the Spartanburg Science Center to the South Carolina State Museum and Generation 4 Science Camp in Belton, young minds now have their hands on these kits that showcase the inventions and discoveries that have helped shape our nation.

And in the spirit of innovation, Clemson student Lukas Garcia was recently named one of just 10 winners of America's Startup Competition for Crystal XG, an AI-powered venture that could help speed up drug development and reduce costs.

From the ingenuity that fueled the fight for independence to the breakthroughs shaping our future, innovation continues to define America, and South Carolina is helping lead the way. 🇺🇸🚀🔬
