Growing opportunities for children to learn, play, and thrive. 🌱💙

The Alabama Kiwanis Foundation is proud to partner with the Kiwanis Club of Tuscaloosa through a matching grant supporting the Freedom Farm Garden—a special space designed for foster children to explore, play, and experience the joy of gardening.

This project creates a welcoming outdoor environment where children can connect with nature, learn how things grow, and enjoy the simple but powerful benefits of time spent outside. Through hands-on gardening and play, the Freedom Farm Garden helps nurture confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging for foster children in the community.

Thanks to the commitment of the Kiwanis Club of Tuscaloosa and the support of the Alabama Kiwanis Foundation, this grant will help cultivate a place where children can grow right alongside the garden itself.
Together, Kiwanis continues to plant seeds of hope and opportunity for the children who need it most.

Supporting dignity. Empowering students. Making a difference. 💙

The Alabama Kiwanis Foundation is proud to partner with the Kiwanis Club of St. Clair County West through a $1,000 matching grant to support Project Dignity—an initiative providing essential hygiene kits for students at five local high schools.

For many students, access to basic hygiene items can be a challenge. Through Project Dignity, these kits ensure that students have the essentials they need to feel confident, prepared, and ready to focus on learning each day.

This grant helps expand the reach of the program, allowing more students across St. Clair County to receive support when they need it most. It’s a powerful example of how Kiwanis partnerships turn compassion into action and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of St. Clair County West for identifying this important need and for their continued commitment to serving students and strengthening their community.

Together, we are making an impact—one student at a time.

Big impact for young readers in North Alabama! 📚✨

The Alabama Kiwanis Foundation, in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Huntsville, recently presented a matching grant to support early literacy initiatives in Decatur City Schools and Huntsville City Schools.

This grant will fund the purchase of phonics phones—simple but powerful tools that help young learners hear themselves as they practice reading aloud. By amplifying their own voices, students strengthen phonemic awareness, build confidence, and develop the foundational skills that lead to lifelong reading success.

Investments like this demonstrate the power of collaboration. When the Alabama Kiwanis Foundation partners with local Kiwanis clubs, the impact multiplies—directly benefiting students and educators across our communities.

We are proud to support innovative classroom resources that help children grow into strong, confident readers. Thank you to the Kiwanians whose generosity continues to open doors for the next generation of learners.

💙 Kiwanis serving the children of the world—right here in North Alabama.
