We hosted an excellent EMBODI Youth Initiative program this weekend featuring Deante Kyle as our speaker! Deante shared stories of his background and career path, in addition to touching on topics such as mental health, education, and political awareness.

His talk was truly a conversation as he engaged with participants to get feedback and opened them up to sharing their thoughts.

We'd like to show appreciation to the Gadsden City High School football team and The Legacy Club for their active participation!

Gadsden Alumnae Chapter recognized Counselor Appreciation by presenting gifts to the Counselors of Gadsden City Schools. The official national school counseling week recognition took place on Feb. 2-6,2026.

Join us this Saturday to hear Deanté Kyle speak for our EMBODI Youth Initiative event!

The Delta EMBODI Youth Initiative was developed based on Delta's 5-Point programmatic framework. This program is designed for young men ages 11-18 who are in grades 5 through 12. We're targeting young men who are interested in developing leadership skills and want to pursue college and/or career options.

Deanté Kyle is the host of the hit podcast Grits and Eggs. He is considered a cultural thought leader, and has featured several well-known entertainers and business owners. Deanté is sure to bring valuable insight on leadership and career path options.

Home Away From Home ~ International Awareness project!
Gadsden Alumnae members donated and distributed cleaning supplies to the International Students at Gadsden State Community College on Wednesday. This annual event allows members an opportunity to interact with students from different countries and cultures. Members also shared information about our principles and offered support for student needs.
