Meet Adriana, Daniela, Camila, and Isabella—four girls born in the desert in Mexico who are finally making their way to North Carolina this Friday.
🇲🇽➡️🇺🇸

They’ve completed their vaccinations, been spayed, and cleared all the requirements needed for travel. So much love, coordination, and care has gone into giving these pups a second chance.

⚠️As we prepare to welcome them, we still need 2 more foster homes to help them settle in and start their new lives.⚠️

These sweet girls will be looking for their forever homes soon, but first they need a safe place to land. 💛

Lost Pet Reports Spike Over the 4th of July!🎆

Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be frightening for our pets. The days surrounding Independence Day are some of the busiest of the year for lost pet reports.

Before the celebrations begin:
• Make sure your pet’s microchip information is up to date.
• Check that their collar and ID tags are secure and easy to read.
• Give them plenty of exercise during the day.
• Create a safe, quiet space indoors away from windows and doors during fireworks.

Please remember: never bring your pets to fireworks displays. A little preparation can help keep your best friend safe at home this holiday. ❤️🤍💙

🚨 FOSTERS URGENTLY NEEDED 🚨

A kind Samaritan found a mama dog and her puppies on the side of the road. The mom appeared injured and had four puppies with her.

She tried to help, but the mama dog was too scared to come to her.

After one day, only two puppies remained with mom.

A few days later… still just those two.

💔 We don’t know what happened to the others.
She was finally able to secure the remaining puppies and reached out to us for help, and now WE need yours.

These babies are very young and need to be fostered together for the next week or two so they can stay safe, warm, and properly cared for.

🐾 Can anyone step up and open their home?
Even a short-term foster will make a lifesaving difference.

If so, please fill out a foster application www.usdogcoalition.org/be-a-foster-hero

Zoe’s breed results are in, and they confirm what we’ve already been seeing—this girl is smart, driven, and full of potential!

She’s already showing us just how eager she is to learn, explore, and take on new challenges. Zoe will be looking for an active family with working breed experience who can provide the training, enrichment, and adventure she needs to thrive.

For the right family, Zoe will make an incredible companion, hiking buddy, and loyal best friend.

Know someone looking for a highly trainable adventure partner? Send them our way! Zoe will be available for adoption soon. 🩵🐾

A great reminder that fostering changes lives—both canine and human. ❤️

When a teenager couldn’t find a summer job, he decided to foster a rescue puppy instead. What he gained was far more valuable than a paycheck: responsibility, patience, confidence, and a life-changing bond with a dog in need.

We see this every day at US Dog Coalition & Rescue. Fostering saves lives, and it often leaves a lasting impact on the people who open their homes, too.

My teen didn't get a job or volunteer gig for the summer, so we decided to let him foster a puppy. It has been a great experience.

A week later and we're still so thankful for Metalcore Night at The Mill. USDCR was the recipient of $500 in donations which really helps us with our rescue efforts.

HUGE shoutout to the amazing ladies who run Pawsitively Alternative Markets for making it all happen! If you haven't heard of Alternative Waves or Pawsitively Delicious Treats, just know that they collaborate to highlight local makers with a pet-friendly vibe.

This week, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥: their eyes are opening.

Slavin peeked.Jarvis blinked.K’Andre looked around like he had questions.Staal opened her eyes and took it all in.

Four little puppies, still sleepy and wobbly, but suddenly aware there’s a whole world beyond the puppy pile.

Dolly’s 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲 litter is growing. It’s a small milestone. But it feels like a big one.

Behind the scenes, the steady rhythm continues: feeding, weighing, cleaning, checking. Making sure Dolly has what she needs to keep showing up for them, even on the hard days.

Rescuing Dolly has been anything but straightforward. Still, there’s real progress here.

Right now, though, we’re still in a hard place. We have $3,265 left to go on their fundraiser to regain the veterinary costs, and donations have dramatically stalled.

This care only happens because people keep showing up; sometimes in small ways, sometimes in big ones. Either way, it matters to our being able to save more dogs in the future.

❤️🖤 Thank you for being part of Dolly’s story, and for every animal who gets another chance because of it.

Preparation doesn't start when the fireworks do.

It starts today.

Every year, we see heartbreaking posts from families searching for dogs that panicked and ran. Most of them never thought it would happen to their dog.

The good news? A few simple steps can make all the difference.

✔️ Make sure your dog's ID tag has your current phone number.

✔️ Verify that your microchip is registered and your contact information is up to date.

✔️ Save a few recent, clear photos of your dog to your phone.

✔️ Plan every potty break. Keep your dog on a leash, even in a fenced yard.

✔️ Check gates, doors, and fences before the first fireworks begin.

Preparation isn't about expecting the worst.

It's about being ready, just in case.

Take five minutes today. Your future self, and your dog, will thank you.

🏆 SWEET DREAMS DO COME TRUE! 🏆

Little Jarvis was dreaming of a Canes Stanley Cup victory… and he woke up to champions! ❤️🖤

While the Carolina Hurricanes celebrate bringing home the Cup, Dolly and her Storm Surge puppies are celebrating another day of growing stronger, healthier, and cuter by the minute.

These tiny pups aren’t ready for adoption yet—they’re still busy eating, sleeping, and dreaming big. But caring for a nursing mama and her growing litter comes with plenty of expenses, from food and supplies to veterinary care.

If you’d like to help support Dolly, Jarvis, and the rest of the Storm Surge crew, we’ll drop our donation link and needed supplies list in the comments. Every little bit helps these future all-stars get the best possible start in life. ❤️🐾

🐾 June is National Foster a Pet Month 🐾

There’s no better time to make a difference than right now.

These four dogs are currently searching for foster homes where they can feel safe, loved, and cared for while they wait for their forever families. They will be arriving at the end of this month. By fostering, you’re not just helping one dog—you’re helping us save even more lives by opening up space for other animals in need.

Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways to support rescue, and we’ll be here to help every step of the way.

Could one of these sweet faces be your next foster?
