Momma Jupiter! 🌙

Jupiter gets spayed this Friday, and we’re looking for a safe barn placement for her! 🐱

Jupiter is still scared of people, but she’s playful, food-motivated, and not aggressive. She’ll even allow pets while she’s eating! She can be a little hissy, but she just needs someone who understands that trust takes time. ❤️

We’re hoping to find someone who can safely contain her while she acclimates to her new surroundings, establishes a feeding routine, and learns that her new home is a safe place where food and care will always be waiting for her.

We think this girl could make a wonderful barn cat and an excellent little mouser! 🐭

❤️ WE NEED A LITTLE HELP FOR THIS BABY ❤️

We’ve had another unexpected medical situation come up, and today we’re asking our village to help us get one very special little girl the care she needs. 💔

This little kitten recently had a faint positive result on a parvo SNAP test. Since then, we’ve been closely monitoring her, watching her weight, appetite, and stool. We were finally seeing some encouraging signs, and she was eating better and acting like her sweet self.

Unfortunately, things have taken another turn. She has now developed sneezing and worsening nasal congestion, and it’s starting to affect her appetite. With everything she has already been dealing with, we don’t want to take any chances or wait for things to get worse.

We’ve made the decision to take her to MU for supportive care and additional testing. We need answers, and most importantly, we want to give her the best chance possible. ❤️‍🩹

The emergency visit alone starts at $184, and that’s before any additional diagnostics, medications, or treatment she may need. As a small, foster-based rescue, unexpected medical bills like these are difficult to absorb, especially when we have so many other cats and kittens depending on us.

We will always do everything we can for the babies who come into our care, but we can’t do it alone. ❤️

In true rescue fashion… 😂

We left our adoption event today and I was dropping off fosters and kitties when a concerned neighbor asked if we could help.

I’ll be honest — we really don’t have the space right now. But somehow, we always find a way to make it work. ❤️

This sweet mama has probably had 10+ litters of kittens. But this will be her last. And her babies won’t have to grow up outside.

We couldn’t say yes again right now if we tried… but we popped up the kennel, made some room, and we’re going to make it possible for this little family to live their best lives moving forward. 🥹

Not exactly on my bingo card for today… but here we are. 😂🐾

One more mama gets to retire from motherhood. One more litter gets a chance at a completely different life. And somehow, that makes the chaos worth it. ❤️

❤️ WE SERIOUSLY DON’T KNOW HOW TO SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH. ❤️

All September long, our friends at Beautifully Grimm Tattoos hosted their Cats for Tats fundraiser to benefit Purrfect Paws Rescue and together, they raised an absolutely incredible $1,430! 😭🐾

Courteney and Brantley worked their BUTTS off all month long, tattooing what feels like approximately a billion cats and all of their trash-cat friends: possums, raccoons, otters, and everything in between. 😂❤️

Rescue has been a lot lately. Financially, emotionally, and personally, there is a LOT that goes into keeping this rescue moving and caring for all of the animals who count on us. It can feel heavy sometimes.

But every once in a while, someone comes along and reminds you that you aren’t doing it alone.

That’s what this felt like. Our community saying, “We’ve got your back. Keep going.” ❤️

Courteney and Brantley, you put so much time, energy, and love into making this happen. And to everyone who came in for a tattoo, donated, or helped spread the word — you helped turn a month of incredible work into $1,430 for the animals.

That money will help with food, vet care, medications, supplies, and all the things that keep this rescue going.

We are so lucky to have people in our corner who love these animals like we do. ❤️

Our FeLV+ boy finally found the life he deserves. ❤️

When we found out Gromit was FeLV+, we had no idea how hard it would be to find him the right place. We knew he deserved more than simply being safe—we wanted him to be able to roam free, meet new people, be around other kitties, and get all the love he could possibly handle.

Thanks to an amazing rescue in Chicago, Gromit is headed to a cat café where he’ll get to do just that while waiting for his forever home. 🥹❤️

And a big thank you to his amazing fosters who cared for and loved him Akista and Lanette.

Lanette is making the 6-hour drive to get him there. We couldn’t be more grateful.

We are BEYOND excited for this next chapter.

We love you so much Gromit. Go live your best life. You deserve it. 🐾❤️

🖤🧡Everyone meet Trinket Bell 🧡🖤

Trinket was pulled from a kill shelter. She was scared and confused, but remained gentle through and through.. She loves to play with other cats in the home, as well as lounge about on her cat perch and cat trees. She lets out little squeaks when she wants attention or a little treat. Trinket really is one of a kind tortie, she goes against all tortie things and is just a laid back sweetheart. Let’s find Trinket Bell her forever home

Over the past two weeks, we’ve pulled 8 kittens and a young adult from a shelter in an effort to help clear space and give these little ones a chance. And on Monday, thanks to another amazing rescue partner, 4 more adults will be coming into rescue. ❤️

That’s something to be happy about, right?

It absolutely is.

But there’s a hard part that comes with every pull…

There are still faces left behind.

Still cats waiting. Still kittens hoping someone notices them.

Meet some of the ones still waiting:

🐾 Teller — the first kitten pictured. He is incredibly sweet, friendly, and ready to love someone.

🐾 Dexter — our white and gray tabby. He’s a little scared right now, but he is so young. With some time to decompress, patience, and plenty of love, we truly believe he’ll acclimate beautifully and show just how sweet he can be.

🐾 Our unnamed white kitten — she is terrified and will need someone who is willing to be patient, give her time, and show her that people can be safe.

🐾 Our other unnamed tabby — this little guy is already very friendly and would love the chance to get out of the shelter and into a home.

🐾 And lastly, an orange mama and her three tiny babies. A whole little family still waiting for someone to say, “Yes. We can help you.”

We would LOVE to clear the shelter and get the remaining kitties out. We need fosters to say yes!
