Healing happens. Recovery is possible. Lives are saved every single day because someone chose to carry naloxone, because someone listened without judgment, because someone refused to give up.

Today, we pause to remember every life lost to overdose. We hold space for the families, friends, and communities who carry their memory every single day. You are seen. You are not alone.

This Overdose Awareness Month, we remember those we've lost, support those who grieve, and commit to breaking the stigma that keeps people from seeking help. Carry naloxone. Share a story. Offer compassion. Overdose touches every community—but so can hope. We're in this together.

Every community is made stronger when we take care of each other. That’s the goal behind the Syringe Access Program, now offered in Summit County through Mile High Behavioral Healthcare and Bee the Vibe. This harm reduction initiative provides care, resources, and non-judgmental support to help prevent overdose, reduce the spread of disease, and protect the health of our neighbors.

Celebrating Colorado’s 150th Birthday and Our Commitment to a Brighter Future‼️💥

Dear Friends and Community,

As we gather to celebrate Colorado's 150th birthday, it’s a perfect moment to reflect on our achievements and envision a brighter future for all our residents. This milestone reminds us of our rich history, vibrant culture, and the incredible spirit of our people.

In looking ahead, I am (MHBHC) committed to advocating for enhanced funding and robust behavioral health services. We know that mental health and well-being are essential components of a thriving community we plan to remain community focused . As we celebrate our past, let’s also ensure that we are investing in a comprehensive system of care that meets the needs of every Coloradan.

Together, let’s work towards a future where everyone has access to the support they need, creating whole person health and well-being for the next 150 years. By prioritizing mental health and wellness, we can build a stronger, healthier Colorado for generations to come.💪

Cheers to our shared journey and the promise of a brighter tomorrow!

Warm regards,

Robert Bob Dorshimer CEO
