Galveston County Sheriff Jimmy Fullen recently addressed the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) this morning, highlighting the coordinated efforts underway to combat drunk driving throughout Galveston County. Galveston County Constable Precinct 4 Justin West, a commissioner and Assisting Presiding Officer of the TCOLE Board, joined fellow commissioners in viewing the Galveston County Drunk Driving Awareness PSA—a collaborative initiative created by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, Constable Precincts 1, 2, 3, and 4, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

This unprecedented partnership among Galveston County law enforcement agencies sends a clear and powerful message: “You drink. You drive. You lose.”

As summer brings increased travel and activity to our community, Galveston County law enforcement agencies, with the full support of the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office, are intensifying efforts to identify, deter, and arrest impaired drivers before lives are changed forever.

Sheriff Fullen’s presentation to TCOLE is another step in raising awareness across Texas and encouraging law enforcement agencies statewide to strengthen their commitment to keeping our roads safe. Drunk driving is 100% preventable, and together we can save lives by making responsible choices behind the wheel.

This Memorial Day, LEAFGC honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Today we remember the heroes who served with courage, protected our nation, and gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends, may we pause to reflect with gratitude, pray for the families of the fallen, and honor the legacy of those who answered the call to serve.

From all of us at LEAFGC — thank you to our fallen heroes. We remember. We honor. We will never forget. ❤️💙

🇺🇸💙 BACK THE BLUE 💙🇺🇸

LEAFGC was truly honored to have our Board Members attend and support both the 2nd Annual Constables Clay Classic and the 12th Annual Sheriff Jimmy Fullen Spring Country Classic Golf Tournament this past week.

These events are more than just a great time, they are a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together to support the men and women who serve and protect us every single day.

We are incredibly grateful to the constables, sheriff’s office, sponsors, volunteers, and every participant who made these events such a success. Your dedication and generosity continue to make a real impact across Galveston County.

At LEAFGC, we are proud to stand alongside you in supporting law enforcement and ensuring they have the resources they need to serve safely and effectively.

💙 Let’s keep showing up.
💙 Let’s keep giving back.
💙 Let’s continue to Back the Blue.

Today, Law Enforcement Alliance for Galveston County proudly honors the men and women who put on the badge and step into the unknown every single day to protect our communities.

Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication do not go unnoticed. You run toward danger, stand in the gap for the vulnerable, and serve with integrity even when the job is difficult and unseen. Behind every uniform is a family who also serves — and we thank them, too.

From all of us at LEAFGC, we are grateful for every officer, deputy, dispatcher, and first responder who keeps Galveston County safe. We stand with you, support you, and appreciate you today and always.

💙 Thank you for your service💙

💙 Galveston County, Let’s Back the Blue… and Find a Blue Santa! 💙

Across Galveston County, our police departments work year-round to protect, serve, and show up when we need them the most. Now, it’s our turn to stand with them. Blue Santa programs are growing fast in every city — and so is the number of local children hoping for a little Christmas magic this year.

🎁 How Can You Help?
Simple: Support your nearest police department’s Blue Santa toy drive. Each city in our county has families who could use a little extra help this Christmas, and every donation puts joy directly into the hands of a child right here in our community.

🧸 What to Donate:
• New, unwrapped toys for all ages
• Games, sports gear, dolls, art sets, plush toys, electronics, bikes & more
• Gift cards for teens (always needed!)

📍 Where to Drop Off:
Just visit your local police department anywhere in Galveston County — Friendswood, Dickinson, League City, Santa Fe, Hitchcock, Texas City, La Marque, Galveston, Kemah, Jamaica Beach, and every agency in between. Walk into the lobby, look for their Blue Santa collection area, and drop off your gift with pride!

🛒 Prefer to Shop Online?
Most agencies have easy Amazon or online wishlists available through their social media pages and websites. Purchase in minutes, ship directly, and you’ve made Christmas happen for a child without ever leaving home.

💙 Why It Matters:
A toy isn’t just a toy — it’s hope, dignity, and a reminder that this community looks out for its own. When you support Blue Santa, you stand behind the children who need us and the officers who serve them.

Let’s show the strength of Galveston County and make sure every child wakes up smiling this Christmas. Find your Blue Santa, Back the Blue, and spread the gift of giving! 💙🎁🎄
