🎁💚 Toy Drive Success! 💚🎁

Our troop is excited to share that this year’s Toy Drive was a wonderful success! All donated toys were delivered to the Community School Coordinator at Friendsville Elementary School and The Friendsville Elementary Judy Center Early Learning Hub, where they’ll be shared with local children and families.

We were so grateful for the opportunity to partner with them and help spread a little extra Christmas joy throughout our community. ✨

Come out to the Garrett County Festival of Trees and check out The Friendsville Girl Scout Troop’s tree ! The theme was “ A Friendsville Girl Scouts Troops’ Wilderness Wonder”. The girls worked really hard and are excited that all proceeds will go to The Dove Center. Thank you to everyone who helped make our tree a success! 🎄❤️

Our Girl Scout Troop 10249 is collecting NEW, unwrapped toys to help bring joy to children right here in our community.
Toys will be distributed to Friendsville families — let’s spread some local cheer! 🎄💚

(During business hours only)

🕒 Hours for Drop-Off:
• Monday: 11 AM – 6 PM
• Thursday: 9 AM – 4 PM
• Friday: 9 AM – 4 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM – 2 PM

📅 Drop off toys by December 1st!

From November 1st through December 1st, you can drop off new, unwrapped toys during our regular business hours.
All donations will go toward bringing holiday cheer to local families in need. 💚

The Girl Scouts are earning their take action badge in the months of November and December. The take action badge is all about giving back to the community and helping where help is needed. Yesterday the Girl Scouts worked on making ornaments for our tree for The Garrett County’s Festival Of Trees. Our theme is “ A Girl Scouts Wilderness Wonder “ and the proceeds of our tree is going to the Dove Center. We are also working on a toy drive this month to help local families in need ! Way to go girls!! 🎅🏻🎄❤️

Friendsville Girl Scout Troop 10249 is doing a toy drive that will benefit Garrett County families. We will be accepting new unwrapped toys for children aged birth- middle school. The toy drive will be from November 1st- December 1st. We will have a drop off box set up inside of Herbal Earth Apothecary & Gardens during business hours. Let’s come together to help our community!

These girls have been busy creating things from nature, taking care of nature, learning to use resources wisely, being kind and a sister to every Girl Scout, preserving food and even made their very own applesauce! 🍏

🎉The girls have a lot of fun things coming up and are excited to give back to the community during the holidays.

🎅🍪The girls will be having a bake sale at Breakfast with Santa at the Friendsville Fire Hall December 6th 9-12.

🎁The girls will also be having a toy drive for the month of November- watch for more information in the coming weeks if you are interested in donating!
