🐾 **A Special Need We'd Love Your Help With** 🐾

Lately, we've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes. Our focus has been a little less on social media and a lot more on meeting individual needs as they arise. Today, we're reaching out for help with a need that is very close to our hearts.

We work alongside an incredible woman who regularly goes into the encampments to care for the animals living there. She provides vaccinations, wellness checks, basic medical care, and so much love to dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens that might otherwise go without.

Right now, there are a large number of animals in need, and she is running dangerously low on supplies.

If you have any pet supplies that your family no longer needs, or if you'd be willing to pick up a few extra items on your next shopping trip, we would be so grateful. Some of the most needed items include:

🐾 Dog and cat food
🐾 Puppy and kitten food
🐾 Treats
🐾 Leashes, collars, and harnesses
🐾 Bowls
🐾 Pet beds and blankets
🐾 Crates and carriers
🐾 Toys
🐾 Puppy pads
🐾 Cleaning supplies
🐾 Any other pet-related items

These animals are loved deeply by their owners, and for many individuals experiencing homelessness, their pets are their closest companions, their comfort, and sometimes their only family. Helping care for these animals is another way we can love and support the people we serve.

As always, we are incredibly thankful for each of you. Your generosity allows us to step into needs big and small and remind people that they are seen, valued, and loved.

A little overdue, but too important not to share. 💜

I want to take a moment to give a huge thank you to Realm Laser Engraving for their incredible generosity.

They donated six beautiful gift baskets and six custom engraved water canisters for some of the moms we serve—both those currently in treatment and those still living in encampments.

What may seem like a simple gift to some can mean so much to a mother who is walking through an incredibly difficult season. Being seen, valued, and reminded that someone cares can make all the difference.

Your kindness and thoughtfulness did exactly that. The care you put into each item was evident, and the smiles they bring are priceless.

Thank you for using your gifts to bless others and for helping us remind these women that they are loved, worthy, and not forgotten.

We've been a little quiet on social media lately, but that's because we've been busy moving behind the scenes, doing the work God has placed in front of us.

Today was one of those days that reminds me why this mission matters so much.

Because of your support, we were able to provide a phone to a friend of ours living in an encampment. To many people, a phone may seem like a simple thing, but for him, it was the missing piece standing between where he is today and the housing he is about to receive.

This phone means he can now communicate with housing staff, receive important notifications, answer calls, complete the next steps in the process, and stay connected with the people who care about him. It means opportunity. It means connection. It means hope.

Something as small as a phone can truly be life-changing.

It also serves as a reminder of how important communication is for those experiencing homelessness. A phone isn't just a convenience. It's a lifeline. It's the ability to call for help in an emergency, connect with loved ones, access resources, schedule appointments, apply for jobs, communicate with case workers, and receive the support that so many desperately need.

Moments like this are only possible because of each and every one of you.

When you donate to Ezra's Light Foundation, you're not funding an organization you are changing lives. You are helping remove barriers. You are restoring dignity. You are giving people a chance to take the next step forward.

As I watched this unfold today, I couldn't help but think about how God so often works through ordinary people willing to say "yes." Your generosity becomes His hands and feet in our community.

Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for helping us show up for people who are often overlooked. Thank you for being part of the stories that don't always make headlines but change lives forever.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped make today happen! ❤️

Because of the incredible support shown, we received hundreds of sandwiches that will help feed our unhoused neighbors and those facing difficult circumstances. This kind of community support makes a real impact, and we are so incredibly grateful.

A very special thank you to the amazing folks at Unity for hosting such a wonderful volunteer event and bringing people together to serve others in such a meaningful way.

It takes a village, and today was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people show up with compassion and willing hearts. Thank you for being part of this mission with us. ✨
