Meet Harry Carlson, who has worked at Cub Foods for the past two years.

As part of the cleaning crew, Harry helps keep the store clean and welcoming by gathering carts, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms. He also travels independently to and from work each day using Lyft.

For Harry, finding the right fit has made all the difference.

"I found the right job for me here at Cub."

One of his favorite parts of the job is the friendships he's built with his coworkers and the people he sees each day.

The forum will give voters an opportunity to meet candidates running for the Minnesota Senate and House of Representatives about mental health and related state policy issues. The nonpartisan, educational event will also provide an opportunity for candidates to hear directly from community members.

Mental health policy extends beyond treatment and services. Decisions about health care, housing, education, employment, and economic security can have a significant impact on the well-being of entire communities and on people living with a mental illness and their families.

Jafar Lee recently received a new phone through our Advancing Lives Fund!

Jafar works at River Oaks of Minnesota in Columbia Heights. His old phone wasn't working properly, which made it difficult for him to clock in and out of work. Thanks to the Advancing Lives Fund, Jafar was able to get an updated phone which helps him stay successful at work.

The Advancing Lives Fund provides one-time financial support for people in our programs when needs aren't covered by other funding sources, helping remove barriers and create opportunities for independence.

A special shout-out to Ry’s & Shine for inviting us aboard a Stillwater River Boats cruise on the beautiful St. Croix River! 🚢☀️

Several Life Enrichment sites came together for a day of sightseeing, dancing, great music, and fun with friends. With lunch provided and a live band keeping the energy high, it was a wonderful day on the water!

Our Restaurant Ready group recently had the opportunity to put their skills to work by serving dinner to Rise Senior Leaders and our Board of Directors! 🍽️👏

They helped serve a catered meal, set up the buffet, cut and serve cake, provide drinks, assist guests with their meals, and clear tables throughout the evening. It was a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while showcasing the skills they've developed through the program!

We're proud of the great job they did! 🌟
