Sea Scouts Ship 4013

Ship 4013 equips and maintains two life vest stations for children and adult sizes. One at the main port dock Port of Friday Harbor Marina & Airport and another at the Egg lake dock. We received a generous grant for children’s vests from Sea Tow. As you head out this Memorial Day weekend, please borrow a vest from one of your stations and wear them. Have a safe and fun weekend!

For over 100 years Sea Scouting has promoted better citizenship and improved members’ boating skills through instruction and practice in water safety, boating skills, outdoor, social, service experiences, and knowledge of our maritime heritage. San Juan Island is a magical place for boating; from sailboat racing to camping and all the other outdoor activities available in the Salish Sea, Sea Scouts learn and engage in the vast maritime activities in the San Juan islands.
