Membership can be paid via paypal https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/D5N4M827WZLD6 It was the wisdom of our founding foremothers in 1915 that peace is not rooted only in treaties between great powers or a turning away of weapons alone, but can only flourish when it is also planted in the soil of justice, freedom, non-violence, opportunity and equality for all. They understood, and WILPF still orga

nizes in the understanding, that all the problems that lead countries to domestic and international violence are all connected and all need to be solved in order to achieve sustainable peace. This remarkable vision still guides us today as we face the challenges of the twenty-first century. the equality of all people in a world free of sexism, racism, classism, xenophobia, and homophobia,
2.) the guarantee of fundamental human rights including the right to sustainable development,
3.) an end to all forms of violence: r**e, battering, exploitation, intervention and war,
4.) the transfer of world resources from military to human needs, leading to economic justice within and among nations, and

Speakers, a great birthday cake, potluck food, community.

"Una Revolución no es un lecho de rosas. Una revolución es una lucha a muerte entre el futuro y el pasado. El revolucionario sabe que el camino es largo y está lleno de obstáculos, pero jamás renuncia porque su fuerza nace de la justicia de su causa."
Fidel Castro Ruz

“Arise, women!” Juliet Ward Howe commanded. “Say firmly: ‘We will not have great questions decided by irrelevant agencies. Our husbands shall not come to us, reeking with carnage, for caresses and applause. Our sons shall not be taken from us to unlearn all that we have been able to teach them of charity, mercy and patience. We, women of one country, will be too tender of those of another country, to allow our sons to be trained to injure theirs.’”

Below, The Ribbon Project involved people all over the country creating panels to wrap around the Pentagon on Hiroshima/Nagasaki Day 1985. Fresno made panels to circle the Federal Building on Mothers' Day 1985 in Fresno, before sending them off for the Ribbon around the Pentagon.

The Mexican company CEMEX has contributed to the unlawful Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories by providing materials for the building of illegal structures, while denying any wrongdoing. This illustrates how corporations may align with suppressive states in order to follow their own interests. And now, CEMEX wants to deep mine blast a massive hole 200 feet from the San Joaquin River.

Readymix, the subsidiary of Mexican company CEMEX, has provided materials for the building of Israel’s Annexation wall in and around the West Bank. The wall violates the human rights of the Palestinian communities it affects – preventing access to basic services including health and education, isolating Palestinians from their friends and families, and undermining livelihoods.

Understand what this post is about 😢 for World Press Freedom Day, the 363 journalists are being recognized because they were murdered for sharing the truth! They were targeted and destroyed by Israel’s Occupation forces in the past 940 days since Oct 7, 2023 when Israel began its current mass slaughter of Palestinians and others simply to take over land and resources! 😢🤯
