It’s messages like this that continue to remind me why walking in integrity means so much! I received this message today from a brother that was incarcerated with me.

There are moments in life when God allows you to witness something that words can barely capture… and Family Day at Jester 3 was one of those moments.

What took place was more than an event—it was a glimpse of healing. It was broken places being touched by love. It was fathers embracing their children, families laughing together again, and hope rising in a place where so many have known pain.

For a few sacred hours, the weight of separation didn’t have the final say. Joy did. Love did. Restoration did.

To every family that showed up… your presence mattered more than you know.
To every volunteer who served, gave, and poured out… you became the hands and feet of that love in action.

We believe seeds were planted—seeds of healing, forgiveness, reconciliation, and strength—that will continue to grow long after that day is gone.

FBI Ministry is deeply grateful for each and every one of you who made this possible. What you helped create wasn’t just a memory… it was movement. It was impact. It was ministry.

And we honor and appreciate TDCJ Chaplaincy for the powerful work being done to help families rebuild, restore, and remain whole—even in the midst of adversity. Your commitment is helping change lives from the inside out.

This is what it looks like when love shows up.
This is what it looks like when hope refuses to quit.
This is what it looks like when families begin to heal.

And we’re just getting started.
