BAPAC Fresno BAPAC-Fresno serves as an advocate for equity to the African American community and other underserved

Black American Political Association of California (BAPAC) was founded in 1979 by Dr. Percy Pinkney and 19 other key leaders in San Francisco, CA. They saw a deep need to become a champion for California’s communities and encourage cooperation among those communities. Since then, BAPAC has grown to over 40,000 active members and 60 chapters Statewide. BAPAC's mission is to educate, engage and empower California communities of color in an effort to restore and promote social and economic equity.
