The Chinese American Museum Project (CAMP), an initiative of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) of Fresno and Fresno City and County Historical Society (FCHS), is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Fresno’s Chinese American community. Through its CAMP Photo Archive, CCBA & FCHS invites community members to contribute photographs and stories that capture the experiences of Chinese Americans in the region. These contributions help document family life, businesses, social gatherings, and community events, providing a comprehensive view of the community's heritage.
If you have photographs to share, you can upload them directly on ccbafresno.org or CCBA & FCHS offers to carefully scan and return your originals, ensuring your memories are preserved for future generations. This effort not only safeguards personal histories but also enriches the collective narrative of Chinese Americans in Fresno.
For more information on how to contribute to the CAMP Photo Archive, please visit the official website: ccbafresno.org. Here, you'll find details on the submission process and how your contributions can make a lasting impact on preserving the community's history.
