Fremont NAACP Unit 3217 We are non-partisan but NOT non- participative. Join us, we need you! The NAACP Toledo chapter organized the Fremont Chapter in 1955.

We fight discrimination and injustice, register voters, offer needs based scholarships, unite the community, impact legislation, We are advocates for equity and equality. The NAACP insures the political, educational, social, and economic equality of minority groups and citizens, achieves equality of rights and eliminates race prejudice among the citizens.

Attached is an example of what your ballot may look like. If you have not already voted, you can familiarize yourself.
Our local churches were contacted to ask anyone who has not voted, if they would be interested in gathering to break bread together (lunch after morning service from 1-3 p.m.) and unite to cast our votes on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The final day of Early Voting is Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 1p.m. - 5p.m.

Announcement!

See the attached image. On Friday, Birchard Library posted on their page that their front parking lot is being resurfaced and will be closing Sunday evening, September 27, 2026 and will remain closed until Wednesday morning, September 30, 2026. Street parking will need to be utilized.

This may be an inconvenience, but hopefully not enough to deter your attendance of our Candidate Forum. Since the forum does not begin until 6 p.m., there should be parking available on the street, across the street in the First Presbyterian Church lot, and the Sandusky County Courthouse lot. Fortunately, there are sidewalks from all locations.

We will be there and hoping you will as well!
