We are honored to be recognized this past weekend at Zakat Foundation of America Annual Community Service Award Ceremony! This award is a reflection on our volunteers and community supporters!

Over this past weekend, a group of dedicated young adults came together to distribute more than 200 Eid gifts to over 65 families through our pantry!

The gifts were thoughtfully packed to cover a wide range of ages for each child, ensuring that every boy and girl received something truly meant for them.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible effort of our young volunteers, who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make this day truly special. Thank you to all those who supported this program through donating, organizing, or distributing. 🤲

In the spirit of giving this Ramadan, a young group of freinds warmed our hearts yesterday with a special visit.

The young girls dropped off 13 hand-packed, hand-decorated food bags filled with non-perishable items.

Each bag was personally crafted and decorated with artwork and heartfelt notes, containing essentials like rice, pasta, lentils, bars, and more to support their local neighbors this Ramadan.

Jazak Allah to each and every one of them for their incredible efforts! 🤲

In this blessed month of Ramadan, Salaam Food Pantry’s goal is to raise funds to provide 2,400 halal meal boxes for the next twelve months.

Your generosity in this blessed month of Ramadan will serve our local neighbors with fresh Halal warm meal box during monthly grocery bag distribution.

Each Halal meal box consists of fresh chicken fried noodles, baked chicken, fried rice, lentil soup and fresh Afghan sliced bread for only $5.00 🙏

Fresh halal warm meals catered by local restaurants are packed by volunteers on-site for distribution. Warm meal boxes consist of vegetable rice, chicken noodles, baked chicken, Afghan naan, and warm hearty soup.
