Arunay Foundation Saving lives by raising awareness about beach hazards and improving beach safety We are now repurposing this page for the Arunay Foundation.

This page was used to coordinate the search activity to recover, Anuray Pruthi who was swept into the ocean at the Cowell Ranch State Beach on the afternoon of MLK Day (January 18, 2021). The family has decided to cease all active search activities from March 1, 2021. In that spirit, we have also decided to withdraw the $50K reward, and desire people to stop actively searching for him.

Another community event, another chance to make a difference!

We’re excited to be part of the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Run on October 18!

💙 Come find us at the Arunay Foundation booth! Learn how we’re making beaches safer through life-saving rescue rings and water-safety education, and discover how you can be part of our mission.

❤️ As you run/walk, look out for a special mile marker in memory of our Arunay. We wish more than anything that he could be here running alongside us. Instead, we carry his light with us, turning our love for him into a mission to help keep others safe in the water. Every life we help protect is a little more of his light shining in the world.

And while you’re there, support this wonderful community run that raises funds for Senior Coastsiders!

Every step helps raise awareness—and brings more rescue rings to our coast.

Thanks to your incredible support:
400+ runners showed up strong
1,000+ miles covered together
53 supporters donated an additional $2,433 on top of race entries!

Together, this one morning helped fund a meaningful share of our next batch of rescue rings and beach safety talks in classrooms.
