Local 3367 Afscme Local for the City of Freeport Public works, telecommunicators, and library employees

Members please keep an eye out in the mail. We have a officers nomination meeting June 30th from 3:30-4pm. The following are up for election:
President
Vice president
Recording secretary
Treasurer
Executive board (3)
Trustee (3)
International delegate (1)
Nominations must be made by a member in good standings (of 12 consecutive months) and will only be accepted from the floor of the meeting.

Meeting will be at the library. I will update when I figure out what room we will be in.

Just wanted to let you all know that next week is Public Works Week (May 18th-22nd). There will be a proclamation read at the beginning of the council meeting on Monday. That being said let’s try to pack the house with PW Staff and show the community the men and women who really keep the town running!

Membership meeting Tuesday March 24th. First one will be at 3:15pm the second will be at 6pm will be at the library in the upstairs board room. The reason for two separate times is for the members who get off at 3pm and to see if we can get more members involved.
